Brrrrrr. All over the U.S., it is COLD! Here in Texas, we have had a warmer-than-usual winter…UNTIL THIS WEEK. We are supposed to get down to the twenties tonight with “possible frozen participation,” aka sleet. I have stayed in all day and have read a children’s chapter book and a YA paperback set in WWII.
Public schools are closed tomorrow, as is the private school where I volunteer. They will let us know Monday night plans for Tuesday.
My intention is to blog more often, which is why I’m holding myself to at least a weekly Sunday Check-In.
Next Sunday, I will have a plan/goal set for reviewing books I’ve read, participating sometimes in “Saturday Mornings for Kids,” hosted by Carla Loves to Read blog, and maybe an irregularly timed and sporadically posted “Coming Soon ” meme.
